The ethos for the design has been to sensitively provide restorative hotel spaces in a garden-like pocket on a mountain peak. Since its inception, the intent of the project was to create a cozy and nostalgic village on a mountaintop using a simple yet elegant architecture that has a timeless appeal and that will age beautifully through the years. The cabin-inspired building façades are not designed to draw attention to themselves but showcase nature and the majestic greens around it through the creative use of natural materials and finishes like wood, stone, steel, and glass. Porticos are integrated into each façade, with wooden posts and exposed wooden frames to create an arrival experience as well as a familiar transition area from indoors to outdoors. Split fieldstone veneer provides natural color and texture accents to the façade.
